Metallic Dupion Jewel & Sequin Floral 1.5 in. x 10 yd. Rose Gold
Description
This ribbon is a luxurious rose-gold design, glowing with warmth and elegance. The fabric base shimmers softly in its rosy metallic tone, while intricate embroidery in gold and silver threads creates ornate scrolling and floral-inspired patterns. Sequins and beadwork are layered throughout, adding sparkle and texture that catch the light beautifully, giving the ribbon a jewel-like quality. The wired edges allow it to hold sculptural shapes, making it perfect for dramatic bows, flowing cascades, or structured loops.
Using Ribbon Well
If you've never used ribbon to decorate a Christmas tree, it may seem intimidating at first. When do you put Ribbon on a Christmas tree? If you've wrestled with this question, rest assured, it's much easier than you think. Most designers prefer to put ribbon on at the very beginning of decorating a Christmas tree. If you're going to add some sort of LED Christmas lights, you would do that first, followed by the ribbon. Start from the top, either by creating loops for a bow which you can tie off with floral wire (if you're decorating a live tree) or with one of the PVC tips on an artificial Christmas tree. From there, just work your way down the tree, tucking the ribbon into the tree as you descend, creating a nice, billowing shape. Our line of AH Gold Label Christmas trees is designed to have enough spacing to accentuate ribbon, stems, ornaments and more. Follow along the video below to watch the whole process:
