Metallic Chevron Wave Pattern 2.5 in. x 10 yd. - Gold
Description
On Christmas trees, this ribbon brings warmth, brightness, and a sophisticated metallic accent that enhances both traditional and modern holiday themes. The chevron wave pattern reflects tree lights, creating a dynamic sparkle that adds depth to the branches. Its 2.5‑inch width makes it versatile enough for cascading ribbon treatments, horizontal garlands, or accent bows placed near ornament clusters. The ribbon’s structured feel helps it maintain shape as it curves through the tree, giving the décor a clean, intentional look. Whether paired with gold ornaments, champagne tones, whites, reds, or jewel‑tone palettes, this ribbon adds a festive glow that makes the tree feel thoughtfully styled and visually balanced.
Using Ribbon Well
If you've never used ribbon to decorate a Christmas tree, it may seem intimidating at first. When do you put Ribbon on a Christmas tree? If you've wrestled with this question, rest assured, it's much easier than you think. Most designers prefer to put ribbon on at the very beginning of decorating a Christmas tree. If you're going to add some sort of LED Christmas lights, you would do that first, followed by the ribbon. Start from the top, either by creating loops for a bow which you can tie off with floral wire (if you're decorating a live tree) or with one of the PVC tips on an artificial Christmas tree. From there, just work your way down the tree, tucking the ribbon into the tree as you descend, creating a nice, billowing shape. Our line of AH Gold Label Christmas trees is designed to have enough spacing to accentuate ribbon, stems, ornaments and more. Follow along the video below to watch the whole process:
